Llama Llama Misses Mama by Anna Dewdney

Llama Llama Misses Mama by Anna Dewdney (all copyrights to Anna Dewdney)

A new family favorite is Llama Llama Misses Mama by Anna Dewdney.

This cute story is about a little Llama going to school for the first time, and he misses his Mama (as the title implies!). What makes this book so catchy and kid-loving is the creativeness of how the words rhyme and flow, making the story easy to understand and also (as a parent) to read. The illustrations totally match the storyline, and show the feeling and emotion that the little Llama is feeling throughout the book: being scared, sad, happy, excited. The book also teaches children that even though you might seem all alone, there are friends there that would like to help you when you are sad and miss your mama, and also help you love school too.

The book is labeled for ages 2+
